Because the Tochigi general exercise park where we were using in average years was not available by modification, we held Charity Run at Michinoeki Utsunomiya Romantic Mura
this year. As we had a heavy rain the previous day, it was fabulous fine weather on that day,totally about 1000 people for Cord relay, Stamp rally, Staffs , Volunteers, Visitors)participated in that event.
Tochigi YMCA Charity Run that everybody face to one purpose and gathers with each thought of “We aim at V2 although the venue is different from last year.” or “ We enjoy the event by swelling” became one of the important event.
Because the distance shortened by the change of the venue, there is the secondary effect that people participating in a cord relay by parent and child increased It was impressive that we could see everybody’s very good smiles for the runners with visual difficulty made stable running keeping one’s pace with a person of accompaniment and people who sent big cheer for runners running hard by respect of their friends. We appreciate each participant who performed a splendid event even if a venue was changed.
Charity Runs of the first half of this year were finished by the event of Tochigi YMCA. We will hold the event in Morioka, Sendai, Tokyo from 9/23 in the latter half.

今回は例年利用している栃木県総合運動公園が改装で利用できなかったため、「ろまんちっく村」にて開催を致しましたが、前日の大雨が嘘のような好天に恵まれ、たすきリレー・スタンプラリー参加者・スタッフ・ボランティア・来場者数あわせて1,000人弱のご参加をいただきました。
『会場は違うけどＶ２狙います』『仮装して盛り上がります』等、各々の思いと共に皆が一つの目的に向かい集うチャリティーランは《オールとちぎ》としての重要なイベントの一つになっています。
会場の変更により距離が短くなったため親子でたすきリレーに参加する方々が多くなったという副次効果もあり、伴走者と共に視覚障害のランナーも自分のペースを保ちながら安定した走りをしていただき、仲間へのリスペクトで懸命に走るランナーに大きな声援を送る人たち…とみんながすごく《いい笑顔》をしていたのが印象的でした。
会場が変更になってもなお素晴らしい大会にしてくれた参加者お一人おひとりに感謝したいと思います。
この大会にて前半のチャリティーランが終了致しました。
後半は9/23の盛岡・仙台・東京から始まります。
