The 3rd Kumamoto YMCA International Charity Run was held at Kumamoto Prefectural Agricultural Park Country Park and about 1,400 people participated.
In the opening run small body of kindergarten children ran through.
Next in each game such as Family Run or Group Ran run about 600 runners ran through course wearing costumes. The mascot character of local Koshi-shi ”Veibre-kun” and “Yuruchara All-Stars” came to the venue for support, and a running training by the Higo Bank Women Ekiden Team was also held at the venue.
Food park where we could be tasted wide range of gourmet of fried chicken, takoyaki, fried bread and crepe were crowded with many people.
The revenues by this event will be used for YMCA’s Challenged Child Programs. We appreciate to everyone who participated and supported.

熊本県農業公園カントリーパークで第3回熊本YMCAインターナショナル・チャリティーランを開催し、約1400名が参加しました。
オープニングランでは、幼児園の子どもたちが小さな体で力走しました。続くファミリーラン、グループランなどの各コースでは、銘々のコスチュームを身に包んだおよそ600人のランナーが会場を走り抜けました。
会場には、地元合志市のマスコットキャラクター“ヴィーブルくん”や”ゆるキャラオールスターズ”も応援に駆けつけ、肥後銀行女子駅伝部によるランニング教室なども行われました。唐揚げやたこ焼き、揚げパンやクレープなど幅広いグルメが味わえるフードパークも多くの人たちで賑わいました。
この大会で集まった収益金はYMCAの障がい児プログラムのために活用されます。
