The 14th Kyoto YMCA International Charity Run was held on May 19th in Kamogawa Park.
On Sunday when the May breeze was especially refreshing, the attractive Kamogawa riverbed became an attractive setting for the race. Thanks to the excellent course setting, a wide range participant from the young and old, including YMCA members, alumni, children from local elementary school students and welfare facilities supported by Y’s Men’s Club, could enjoy every inch of the marathon.
The Y’s Men’s Club and Youth Leaders, who support the YMCA, managed the tournament very smoothly. Thanks to their invisible and unspoken support, participating runners, supporters and visitors enjoyed the YMCA International Charity Run in Kyoto. In addition, the stage appearance of the Bukkyo University Brass Band Club made the YMCA International Charity Run in Kyoto lively.
We would like to thank the more than 400 runners and 100 volunteers who participated. We look forward to seeing you again next year.



第14回京都YMCAインターナショナル・チャリティーランが5月19日に鴨川公園で開催されました。
。5月の風がさわやかな日曜日、鴨川河川敷の特設コースという魅力的なコース設定も幸いし、YMCA会員・会友、地域の小学生やワイズメンズクラブが支援している福祉施設の子どもたちなど、老若男女幅広い層の参加者が集まり、マラソンを楽しみました。

YMCAを支えるワイズメンズクラブやユースリーダーが大会運営を行い、出場ランナーや応援者、来場者に楽しんでいただきました。また、佛教大学應援團本部吹奏楽部のステージ出演で、大会を盛り上げていただきました。

400名を超えるランナーの思い、100名を超えるボランティアのお支えに感謝いたします。来年もまた皆さんにお目にかかれることを楽しみにしております。
