Number of participants of Ibaraki Ibaraki YMCA International Charity Run is increasing year by year. Although we started while it rained as weather forecast reported, after we just finished opening ceremony, cloud cleared and the sun appeared as if It cheered runners.
The whole mood of the event became warm by laughter was caused by disguise of children with the spirit.
During race we could see figures of 3 to 4 years child run anole and primary school children with uneasiness run to the last. After we finished all races, all of participants and supporters could have lunch of carry happily.
We held awards ceremony and raffle lottery. We were able to enjoy the event with participants to the end. About hundreds of gifts were donated according to cooperation of many supporters. Many participants said, “ I am very happy to attend. I want to participate in the event next year again” and we entirely thank for supports of many concerned people so that we could hold the event peacefully

年々、参加者、協賛者が増えている茨城YMCAのチャリティーラン。
今年度は、心配されていた雨予報の天気の中での開催でしたが、開会直後、雲が晴れ、ランナーたちを応援するかのように太陽が顔を出しました。 例年、子どもたちの気合の入った仮装には笑いが起き、大会のムード全体が温かいものになりました。
競技中では3～4歳の幼児が初めて一人で走ったり、不安を抱えながらも最後まで走りきった小学生たちの様子が見られました。 競技が終了すると、参加者・付き添いの方みんなでカレーを食べ、楽しい昼食をとることができました。
午後には表彰式・ラッフル抽選会を行いました。多くの協力団体様のお力で約100本もの景品が集まり、最後まで参加者と共にイベントを楽しむことができました。 今日参加してよかった、また来年も参加したいとのお言葉を多くいただき、無事に開催出来ましたことは偏にご協力をくださいました多くの皆様のおかげと感謝しております。
