While it occasionally rained, we carried out charity run. All participation runners ran whole distance and we were able to finish event safely. Number of vocational school students and volunteer leaders of field service increased, then activity of young people were outstanding this year.As car could not enter into the park, we had to carry all goods distance of 200m from the parking lot to event place by human wave tactics, Atmosphere of the whole meeting place was energized watching figure of young people to carry even heavy goods and enjoy working while calling out to each other . In addition to costume by annual customary volunteer leaders, “Bushi Nyan” costume of the character that appeared to “Yokai Watch” by the new first graders attracted the popularity of spectators this year. At first, they hated running by this costume, but they were encouraged by everybody and run the whole distance after transformed into “Bushi Nyan” They were all smile because 30 Umaibo were given them as a special prize. In this year challenged children, healthy children, and 3 years children to 60 years adults run in their own ways and it became a charity run that was characteristic of Hokkaido YMCA and we shared joy to run the whole distance.

時折雨の降る中のチャリティーランでしたが、参加ランナーは無事全員が完走し大会を終えることが出来ました。専門学校生、野外活動のボランティアリーダーの参加が増え、ユースの活躍が目立つ大会でした。公園内は車が使えず、駐車場から会場までの200ｍをすべての荷物を人海戦術で運ぶのですが、重たい荷物でも仲間同士声を掛け合い楽しみながら働くユースの姿に全体の雰囲気が活気づけられていました。
毎年恒例のボランティアリーダーによるコスチュームに加え、今年は新１年生の妖怪ウォッチに登場するキャラクターの武士ニャンコスチュームが観客の人気を集め、最初は嫌がっていましたが、みんなに励まされ武士ニャンに変身してからは元気に完走し、特別賞としてうまい棒30本が贈られると満面の笑みを浮かべていました。
今年も、障がいのある子どももない子どもも、3歳児から60代の方まで思い思いに走り、完走する喜びを分かち合う北海道YMCAらしいチャリティーランとなりました。
