School Life
Wakayama city is a comfortable and convenient city, with a population of 400,000 is about a 50-minute flight from Tokyo, a 30-minute bus ride from Kansai international airport, and a 1-hour train ride from Osaka and Kobe. Wakayama city is a temperate climate, beauty with nature and the sea. You can enjoy leisure activities, such as many cherry blossoms in spring, sea activities in summer, tinted autumnal leaves in autumn, and hot spring in winter. The cost of living is low compared to big cities like Tokyo or Osaka; thus the city environment, which creates an excellent academic atmosphere

It takes only 2 minutes from the east exit of JR Wakayama station to our school on foot.
There are also bank, post office, hospitals, supermarket and convenience stores around. So convenient!
Extra Curricular activities
In addition to Japanese language study, we offer the opportunity to communicate with local people in Wakayama such as YMCA festival, cultural exchange event, visit for community.

- National health insurance : As taking out this, 70% of medical expense is paid as a subsidy.)

Student dormitory
We have dormitories for students.

We offer a tutoring service to enable students to practice free conversation with Japanese volunteer. We also offer to visit home or home stay to YMCA members to know Japanese culture and custom.
