| The history |
|
The Sakuranbo Kindergarten was established in 1953. This kindergarten responded to the request of the area for 45 years since establishing, opened to all infants and as the place of the public education, it made efforts toward the infant education. The finishing life is playing an active part already in each area beyond 4300 stuents. This kindergarten moved to the management which depends on YMCA in 1977. Utsunomiya YMCA established a School Corporation of Utsunomiya YMCA Academy in March, 1978. This kindergarten is doing the wide infant education to put an effort into the gym, the international understanding education as a kindergarten of YMCA which is the biggest young people group in the world. Utsunomiya YMCA made a campsite in 1983 at Toba, Shioya Town, 30 km north of Utsunomiya and the kindergarten has been concentrating power on the nature education and the outdoors education, too. Moreover, this kindergarten carries forward integrated education with the child who has a handicap and elder person of the special caring old person nursing home of Tochigi YMCA which was established in 1993 by Tochigi YMCA and the association with the gaffer, too, can be experienced and is concentrating power on the forming of the wide character from these activities. | This kindergarten is educating with the asking to become the human being as the nursery school child can attend society and a neighbor, growing healthily at the mind and body based on the Christianity mind and being rejoiced by the god and the person. |
| The education goal |

1. We bring up for the student at the kindergarten to respect the God and to have the mercy of the God and natural beneficence, the loving of parents, the heart of the person to thank for in the kindness.
2. We are not only that the student at the kindergarten thinks of himself, and think of a stranger, love and bring up a stranger that it is possible to do good association with the people.
3. We bring up to be able to center a point of view every thing to be able to express that the student at the kindergarten thinks clearly.
4. We bring up to have the heart where the student at the kindergarten can love music, beautiful thing reaching nature.
5. The student at the kindergarten likes movement, we have and bring up physical strength that it is possible to do quick operation and to become the healthy body which has applicability.
6. The student at the kindergarten establishes " the Sakuranbo books library " to cultivate an intellectual imagination with the excellent picture book and we bring up to have an abundant word and knowledge, putting the habitude of the reading to the body. 7. We bring up for the indispensable international sense to be under the body naturally as the child whom the student at the kindergarten grows into in the international times. |
